Troumouse Cirque Natural sites in Gavarnie-Gèdre

The Cirque de Troumouse is one of three located in the Pyrenees with Gavarnie and Estaubé. It is the largest, the wildest, culminating at more than 2100m and… it is accessible by car! Ideal with children, to introduce them to the magnificence of the mountain. The diameter of the Troumouse circus is 4km, there are no trees or bushes on the horizon, due to the weather and the wind.

However, a hike allows you to enjoy sumptuous landscapes, starting from La Chapelle de Héas and climbing for about 2 hours. There is no particular difficulty, just a drop of 618m. Once in the circus, there are possible hikes. You can already go up to the hut of the Virgin and hikers will go as far as the Pic de la Munia which rises to 3133 meters ...
