Hôtel Dubarry Historic Monument in Toulouse

The Hôtel Dubarry, located on Place Saint-Sernin in Toulouse, is a magnificent example of 18th-century architecture in the Pink City.

History and Architecture

Built for Jean-Baptiste Dubarry, this mansion is a testament to the late Rococo style of Toulouse. It features an elegant façade and a richly decorated interior, making it one of the most beautiful mansions in Toulouse.
The complex presents three different constructions of different styles, due to the transformations of the building over time.

The Hôtel Dubarry has been partially listed as a historic monument since October 11, 1984.

Current use

Today, the hotel is an integral part of the Lycée Saint-Sernin. It has had several different functions in the past, such as a house of education for Benedictine nuns and even a military hospital during the First World War.
