Winter sports resort Ariegeoise with an exceptional setting, 1h30 from Toulouse, the Plateau de Beille (1800m above sea level) welcomes many visitors every winter in search of Nordic winter sports. Former breeding ground, the ski area has been open since 1989. It consists of 14 tracks.

The Tour de France passes regularly on the Plateau de Beille which also hosts many other cycling races (cyclosportifs de l'Ariégeoise).
