Situated at the foot of the Pyrenees, in the Ariège Pyrenees Regional Nature Park, the region boasts some magnificent sites, including the Château de Foix, Labouiche underground river, Grotte de Niaux, Cascade d'Ars, Lac de Bethmale and Cirque de Cagateille.

You'll find plenty of walks, horse rides and cycle rides (we're in the middle of the 42km Foix-Saint Girons greenway).

Stayed at the camping for a week. We asked for a camping site with extra shadow, because of the blazing heat. We got a very nice spot next to a small river under alot of trees. Staff was very friendly and helpful. The food from restaurant was okay. Better than expected from a camping-restaurant, although it could’ve been a bit cheaper (€6 for a karmeliet beer is obnoxious). Toilets/showers were clean enough. Showers were nice (warm/cold adjustable). Would like to visit again in a couple of years!

A real hidden gem! At first we were pretty underwhelmed arriving here as it does appear quite basic. We wisely opted to stay and eat on-site and had one of the best meals we have had in ages and ages - based mostly on the food being so local and the whole campsite feeling so family-run and generally having a good feel about it. Pitches were pretty close to electricity and had hedges between them which was a nice touch. We also had the option to choose our pitch which we LOVED!

Excellent shower (hot!) & loos, nice welcome for English speaker, beautifully hedged places, fair price. A very nice surprise for an exhausted cyclist who saw the sign on the main road. Thank you.

We went for a busy summer weekend. The pitch for tents are very close and it misses intimacy. But there are lots of trees. It's sunny in the morning, but not in the evening. The showers are...
