In the famous Toulouse Christmas market (or “ Christmas Village ”), artisans from the Occitanie region come to offer you their products. When it comes to gastronomy, there is something for everyone: island spices, chocolates, homemade nougatine and caramels , typical products from different terroirs, local or more distant products ( aligot , sausages and cured hams, sauerkraut , wine and hot chestnuts ), without forgetting the many cheeses, wines and sweet wines.

Many exhibitors also offer fast food stands: you can taste typical dishes from all over the world: Canada, Venezuela, Tibet but also flavors closer to our daily meals (sandwiches, hamburgers, spaetzle, fries, soups, etc. potatoes). “The pleasures of the mouth, that's not all! » You will say to me, even in the land of gastronomy.

Do not worry, decorative objects but also jewelry , clothing , accessories and other entertainment will be presented to you. It's difficult to list them all, more than 120 exhibitors are impatiently waiting for you at Place du Capitole, on 5000m2 ! They are already present since the end of November and will welcome you until Wednesday, December 26.

Note that the chalets are open every day from 10:30 a.m. to 8:30 p.m. with an extension until 10 p.m. on Fridays and Saturdays. Come and enjoy the warm atmosphere on the mythical Place du Capitole illuminated for more magic! On the way, stop at the association chalet which hosts different ones every day (The Red Cross, Guide dog, The Order of Malta, etc.).

You will be able to taste the pleasures of ice skating, because it is the big comeback of the skating rink, which is also taking place on Place du Capitole. 200m2 of frozen carpet, the latest technology for moments of gliding without being too greedy in energy ... 5 euros for 45 minutes of frosted pleasure! Easy to find the ice rink which is next to the colorful little train.

T he Christmas magic continues for those who still believe in Santa Claus: go to "Santa's Village" in the square Charles de Gaulle, next to the metro stop: smaller will be able to listen to fairy tales, climb the Christmas tree, have their picture taken with Santa Claus, take a ride on the merry -go-round and of course write their letter to Santa Claus! Invite the children to hang their wishes on the tree! Original animations have also been concocted by the elves and all this is free!
