  Are you looking for a noisy campsite, with a broken, non-functional washing machine, peeling, dilapidated sanitary paint, a few surviving Turkish toilets, no toilet paper. Unclean showers. Loud music, shouting, car engines running late at night, or running on site for fun, exhaust smells. Are you looking for a change of scenery surrounded by vehicles from all kinds of maintenance and cleaning companies and their beautiful caravan trailers moving from one region to another to seek new markets? Do you like to share your pitch? No security barriers, people come and go at all hours of the day and night. Noises of company vehicles, decorated with a ladder, apparently they also work at night. You come back with your camper van at the end of the day and surprise your spot is taken by a company. Dogs accepted, it's great, but be careful when you go for walks, the owners don't pick up the droppings. On the plus side, yes, from time to time you can enjoy the sound of a train passing in the distance or just out of boredom count the vehicles passing on the national road near the campsite!!! Welcome to the Vieux Berger campsite in Lourdes. Price announced on the phone, €8 per adult and €8 for the pitch per day. In the end, more expensive than expected. You have to add electricity and taxes. Toilets closed from midnight to 6 a.m. No bread depot. Too expensive for what it is. Other campsites are better and much cheaper. Allow 1 hour of walking to the sanctuary. In my opinion, the positive comments are from family or friends of the "Management". Honestly, move on! Disappointment guaranteed.

  Don't forget that the campsite is 2 stars, so it's good value for money, and don't expect any special activities... It's specifically indicated on the website 🤷. The children's playground is very nice, not very clean, but it's noted that it's under the parents' responsibility, so please clean up after your children out of respect for others 🙄... The area is managed by an external company; they came once to clean and repair the small trampoline that had been broken by older children who had no business being on it 🤨... Clean toilets (we stayed for a week). Ideal for sleeping in peace and spending the day outdoors. We were only at the campsite in the evening to eat and sleep, it was perfect, thank you.
