The Circus of Gavarnie

The Cirque de Gavarnie is an impressive rocky bar, cut into an arc. From the Pyrenean summits, small torrents end their course there, forming exuberant waterfalls, along this stone facade. They are at the source of the Gave de Pau. This majestic ensemble has been classified as a World Heritage Site by UNESCO.

The Bridge of Spain

The Pont d'Espagne was intended to facilitate trade between France and Spain, at the end of the 19th century, by passing cattle over the Gave de Gaube Canyon. But it was above all the first tourists, spa guests from the beginning of the 20th century, who used it for hiking and admiring the landscapes of the Pyrenees. Its success was such that a footbridge had to be built nearby to protect it from excessive traffic. It offers you an exceptional view of the bridge, in its natural environment, simply sublime!

The Pic du Midi de Bigorre

The Pic du Midi de Bigorre is home to an astronomical observatory. Suffice to say that the site and the view are clear. In addition, it has been fitted out to facilitate its access, with a cable car. So you don't need to be a great athlete to admire the Pyrenees from the sky! It is one of the highest peaks in the Pyrenees and the panorama is just breathtaking…

The Pyrenean Gaves

The Gaves are rivers, which have their sources on the Pyrenean peaks and flow into Béarn and the Basque Country. At torrential times, at quiet times, these are natural spaces very rich in biodiversity. Nature-loving photographers can catch wild animals there and collect beautiful images of the local flora. Photography, like fishing, is often a matter of patience. Sometimes you have to know how to wait for the right moment, the right light, and find the right spot…

The Col de Tourmalet

The Col de Tourmalet is a star among sports photographers. It is a famous stage of the Tour de France, a difficult summit, where big names have fought. You will meet many cyclists there, whatever the season, because it is a real challenge for road bike enthusiasts. But this is not the only attraction of this mountain pass either. The trails that crisscross it are very pleasant for hiking and you will enjoy superb views of the Pyrenees.

Bastan Lake

Saint-Lary-Soulan is a mountain resort, very famous for its activities and winter sports. But not only that, the town is nestled in a magnificent natural setting, very close to the Néouvielle Nature Reserve. Lac de Bastan is one of those high altitude lakes, with crystal clear waters, which really deserve a visit and some photos of reflections on the water. The hike passes by the Lac de l'Oule, which is also very beautiful.

When the pure line of the dam fits perfectly into this mineral decor of the Pyrenees mountains, we obtain an association of human work and nature, which borders on visual perfection. This is what awaits you at Lac de Cap de Long, in the heart of the Néouvielle Massif. There is no doubt that you will take extraordinary photos there.

Mauvezin Castle

The Château de Mauvezin is a 12th century Castelnau, fortified in the 16th century by the famous Gaston Fébus. It is lucky to have been saved from ruin and completely restored by enthusiasts. With its impressive keep, surrounded by a walkway, dotted with turrets, it seems straight out of a fairy tale book! During the summer, it hosts shows and reconstructed scenes of medieval life. It's a real journey through time to immortalize!
