A perfect place for tent camping. It is a small family-owned campground that has grass tent pitches. If you love the ‘white noise’ of a river to fall asleep to, this place delivers it. The owner Marjolein is so welcoming and friendly, as is her totally huggable ‘guard dog/door greeter’. They will make you feel right at home. It has a fantastic common room which is so much appreciated when you are tenter / hiker (e.g., lounges, tables, ironing, kettle, microwave and even a pool table). It has a deck where you can enjoy the sunset over the Barèges Valley. It also has quaint timber cabins for those with a more generous budget. Only a short walk into town. This campground is the perfect place to base yourself while exploring the surrounding Pyrenees, and unlike so many others in the region, it is open in the low season. Highly recommended!

Very kind and welcoming owner. We were there a bit late but she told us that she never refuses hikers even thought the camping was almost full. The price was very good and the sanitary rooms were clean and comfortable to use. I highly recommend this place

Spent a lovely night here. Although on the main road, very peaceful at night other than the roar of the river. A short walk from the campsite up into the mountains takes you to a fabulous lookout and...

Certainly a very nice campsite, but the camper pitches are on the side of a busy road. Simply unbearable. I strongly advise against it. Very average welcome and a not very engaging manager.
